Entrepreneur, Nick Buonocore joined the FERRIGNO, REALTORS staff as an agent in 2003 after his 19 year ownership and operation of the area's infamous, Sugar Shack Bake Shop.

Nick and his wife, Lyn are long time residents of Columbia and enjoyed the advantages of raising their two daughters there. His contributions to the community include involvement in the Columbia PTO, Planning & Zoning Board and The Lions Club.

A UConn graduate, with a major in Economics, Nick continues to be a proud supporter of the University and a booster of UConn Athletes since the early 1960's. Nick also served his country in the USAR for six years, receiving an honorable discharge.

Besides attending UConn Athletic events, Nick enjoys fishing, creating stained glass artwork and spending time with his two grandchildren.
